As with all the previous versions of Battlefield, vehicles play a very important role in the game and can be absolutely devestating in the hands of a capable player!
Currently 3 vehicle types are known to be used in Heroes. Whether we will see more vehicles later on remains unknown at this point.
Air support is a very valuable asset indeed. Nothing beats a nice hot stream of lead raining down from the sky!
Beware though, as enemy fighter planes are always lurking and before you know it you'll find yourself in a dogfight! Flying airplanes takes some practise and skill. Prepare for crashing into a lot of trees while learning how to control these monsters of destruction!
Just make sure you know where your eject button is! |

Hoo boy! This is where the real fun begins. These steel colossi will have you trembling in fear when they come around the corner (unless of course you're a gunner with a rocket launcher, then you'll giggle like a schoolgirl!). Tanks are heavily armored machines that fire big shells that explode on impact. The turret can be occupied by a second soldier to take care of any enemy foolish enough to try and get close to the tank.
Oh and if all other options fail you can always just run over anyone crazy enough to not run away from wherever you're driving! |
Ye trusty old iron steed. Cars are a great form of transportation around the Battlefield. Quick, agile and they offer atleast some protection from stray bullets.
While cars have no direct form of offence and aren't the most durable form of transport either, they still have a valuable role in transporting soldiers to the frontlines!
Don't be fooled by their unarmed nature either. A bumper to the face can hurt just as much as a bullet in your behind! |

As you can see there is quite some variety in the vehicles used in Heroes. Each vehicle has it's own role on the Battlefield. Those who are able to put the vehicles to proper use will find themselves quickly gaining the upper hand in any battle. |
